izzo is the first comprehensive at-home Oral Care System that offers a complete teeth whitening experience that promises 93% better cleaning efficiency than other well-known brands.

Headed by fourth-generation CEO Julie Charlestein of Premier Dental, a global developer and manufacturer of dental and medical products, izzo was designed in collaboration with dental professionals to give you a deeper level of clean right from the comfort of your own home.

The Challenge

While izzo had the product, they didn’t have the brand. They needed to develop a brand identity that would resonate with their target audience, build trust, and create a connection with potential customers. They also needed to launch their product quickly and efficiently to meet their business goals.

In order to do this, izzo needed to have the right visual assets on their website to express the value of its product while differentiating themselves from the competition. They also needed to create a seamless user experience on their website to make it easy for potential customers to learn more about izzo. This involved the creation of all of their brand launch assets, including brand and lifestyle photography, video asset creation, and 3D render creation.

Scope of the Project

izzo needed to find a video agency that could quickly understand its brand vision while positioning the company as a luxury teeth whitening experience. They decided to work with Sparkhouse because of our ability to create high-quality, engaging video content that helped tell their story in a way that was unique to their brand. Sparkhouse quickly put together a roadmap for izzo that would give them all of the tools and visual assets they would need to launch their brand successfully. This included product launch and how-to videos, lifestyle and product photoshoots, 3D animations and renders for the website, and customer testimonials.

Pre-production Planning

When it came time to plan the production of all of their assets, Sparkhouse knew they had to put their best foot forward. Going through an extensive pre-production planning process, izzo worked closely with Sparkhouse using concept decks and storyboards to help determine what was needed to help bring the company's vision to life.

In order for the production teams to create the most accurate portrayal of izzo's product line, Sparkhouse utilized multiple packaging assets from the company so that they could be properly rendered in 3D environments and used for several of the home page animation scenes.

Video doctor testimonials were also an important part of the project, as izzo needed a way to show potential customers that their product was developed by dental professionals and backed by real science. To get ready for this process, Sparkhouse coordinated with the doctors provided by the client and set up a day and time to film them at their offices.

The casting process for the izzo photoshoot was also crucial in order to get the right people for the project. Sparkhouse used its in-house casting platform to post the project online and quickly received over 200 submissions which was narrowed down to four suitable actors that were relatable to izzo's target audience.

Production and Post-Production

Once production began, there were many challenges that the team had to face, although all of the groups enjoyed the creative process. The project timeline for filming was restricted to five days and involved capturing all of the photo and video content needed for the doctor testimonials as well as the hero and how to videos. Although the logistics around a project of this size can be daunting, the production went smoothly and the team was able to capture everything that they needed.

izzo's brand launch product required the coordination of multiple teams over a few months in order to complete all of the necessary assets. Sparkhouse used multiple in-house editors to help with the content management load while animators worked diligently to build the website animation and product renders.

All of the video content developed went through rigorous quality control checks and new iterations to make sure that the final product would reflect izzo's brand in the best possible light. This involved adding text callouts, graphics and effects to make the video engaging, memorable, accurate and true to the brand.

The Final Result

Thanks to the help of Sparkhouse, izzo was able to successfully launch its brand and product line while positioning itself as a luxury teeth whitening experience. izzo was very happy with the results of all the content they received and their brand now continues to grow and reach new customers each day.

Most recently, Sparkhouse was asked to help izzo create short length video clips to be featured on TV, as well as video reels, snippets and gifs for instagram as a part of their social media content plan.
