NZXT makes PC cases gamers drool over—so we made sure their promo videos did the same.
Let’s be real—if you’re into gaming or PC builds, you’ve either owned an NZXT case or seriously considered one. They’re sleek, sturdy, and just straight-up sexy. So when NZXT asked us to help launch their H3 and H9 cases? We said yes faster than a speedrun glitch.
NZXT had two new cases: the compact, take-me-anywhere H3 and the powerhouse H9. They wanted videos that showed them off side-by-side—kind of like twins, but with totally different personalities. The goal? Showcase both products with the same polish and visual punch, but let each one stand on its own. So we got to work on two product-driven videos packed with smooth live-action, crisp CGI, and drool-worthy 3D animation. Bonus: we also shot lifestyle photos that gave these tech beauties their own Pinterest moment.
Before we even touched a camera, we threw down some creative options: all 3D, all live-action, or a tasty mix of both. Once the team picked their flavor, we dove into planning mode.
We put together all the pre-pro docs a project like this dreams of:
Concept Deck – where we played mad scientist and brainstormed visual styles.

Audio/Visual Script – the blueprint for how this baby would look and sound, minus actors, all product.
Moodboard – think vibe check but make it aesthetic.
Location Deck – a collection of bright, modern homes with killer natural light and zero distractions.

Prop & Styling Deck – curated by our production designer to sprinkle just the right amount of "wow" onto every frame.

Desk Layout Guide – because yes, desk size matters when you're filming two very different towers.

Animatics – like sketching in motion. Helps us nail down the rhythm before we hit record.
3D Texture Previews – ultra-detailed renders to make sure every vent, port, and edge looked spot-on.
We also teamed up with a production designer who totally got the assignment. With the director’s moodboard in hand, they styled the space like a minimalist dream—plants, light, and desks that felt like they belonged in a gamer’s Pinterest board. For the white cases, we tweaked lighting and blur in the 3D scenes to avoid that dreaded “blown-out highlight” look. Gotta keep those clean lines crispy.
This shoot? Total gearhead heaven. We brought in a steadicam op with a cyclo rig—a camera setup that spins like it’s doing 180s in its sleep. Smooth, cinematic shots? Check. Dynamic movement? Double check.
We also packed a snorkel lens for those sexy up-close shots of fans, ports, and curves. Each case had its own set built to match its personality: the H3 got a light, airy look; the H9 leaned into bold and solid. Our director and production designer were in sync like co-op players on a perfect run, styling every angle to reflect the product’s vibe without stealing its thunder.
Once everything was in the can, our editors pieced together two visually related but totally unique videos. Different music. Different pacing. Different locations. Same wow factor.
We also delivered:
Basically, we built a full content drop that checked every box on NZXT’s wishlist—and then some.
Imagine your product getting this kind of spotlight—clean, dynamic, and ready to impress.
If you're after content that makes people stop scrolling, this is your sign. Let's craft something your audience won’t just watch—they’ll remember. 🎮
